Santa’s Sleigh 2019 – Saturday 14th

It hasn’t been easy but we think we’ve sussed out where Santa can visit in Whitley Bay and are super excited to be able to publish our first detailed map of some of the individual streets we’ll be bringing him down

We’re also thrilled to be receiving feedback from local businesses and as requested we’re planning on stopping off outside Fisherman’s Bay at 4pm before heading off on the route having spent four hours outside Greggs from 12pm

As it’s a weekend this route will start just after 4pm although during the week we’re not planning on starting until 5pm with the aim of finishing by 8pm if not earlier so Santa can see as many children as possible before bedtime

More detailed maps for the other six areas to come over the following days plus we’ll also be leafleting individual streets with the specific date Santa will be visiting at least a week before we come knocking…

Santa’s Sleigh Locations

So, we’ve been working hard with Santa and have agreed the areas we’ll be visiting on which nights. More details to follow nearer the time

We’d love to be able to cover more locations but we’re restricted by time and the number of elves that are available to help Santa

If we’ll not be knocking on your door then you can still see Santa as he’ll be around the centre of a Whitley Bay between 12pm and 4pm on Saturday 14th December

We’re also planning on letting everyone know where Santa will be stopping along each of his routes. Please Like our Facebook Page to receive updates

World Mental Health Day

On World Metal Health Day we just wanted to remind people that Round Table isn’t just about raising money for local communities – it’s also about giving guys a safe space to talk, something that might make all the difference if you’re going through a tough period…

New Logo

We’re really excited about our new logo, professionally designed by Mark at Request a Guest based here in Whitley Bay

They buoy symbolises help and support which is what we’re hoping to be able to offer our local community once we’re properly on our feet

2019 Fundraiser

On Bank Holiday Monday 26th August we celebrated the completion of our first sponsored event, the Hadrian’s Wall Challenge

We also held our Charter Night at Evan’s Bistro in Whitley Bay

The evening also included Live Music and additional fundraising efforts were made via a raffle plus our Secretary and Chairman also donated their bodies in the interest of having them waxed!

In total we managed to raise just shy of £4,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity, and since the event was affiliated with one their Supported Groups, Make William Well (set up by one of our members) 100% of the money raised will be spent on research, i.e. none will go towards charity admin costs etc.
