Started in 2023 by Cullercoats Women's Institute, the Community Christmas Tree Event will be returning in 2024.

This free event is designed to bring together local businesses, schools and organizations in the Whitey Bay, Monkseaton & Cullercoats area by giving them an opportunity to enter a Christmas themed tree/structure that reflects their business or organisation. The festival is supporting local charities including The Bay Foodbank.

The displays at St. Paul’s Church, Park View, Whitley Bay will be open to the public on:

• Thursday 5th December 3pm to 5pm
• Friday 6th December 3pm to 5pm
• Saturday 10am to 5pm
• Sunday 11am to 6pm
